We had a wonderful time visiting beautiful Barcelona about a year and a half ago. During our stay, I entered into an agreement with an art gallery to purchase a rather expensive historic Picasso lithograph. Whenever we travel, I almost always buy a piece of art to add to my collection. Long story short, I paid for approximately one half of the purchase price, both in cash and by credit card, the balance to be paid approximately sixty (60) days later. After about a month or so, the art gallery suddenly canceled the transaction. For several months, the gallery promised to refund my money on more than one occasion, in fact went to far as to claim they provided wire transfer(s) of my deposit(s), which of course never arrived. It culminated in the gallery refusing to refund my deposit(s) and being rather insulting to me. I began to research the laws in Spain and lawyers in Barcelona, as well as spending hours gathering all of my written evidence to present to a lawyer.
