Do not use this law firm for visas. They’ll just take your money. I had a retainer with them for $500 to get my investors visa and they couldn’t even do the basic which was clear communication. Had to chase them down for everything. They deserve no stars!

I can generally recommend Langon Lawyers, especially for immigration papers. They are not the cheapest lawyers, but they really know the law, they are efficient and if you work with them they will outline how it will work and it will work that way. That being said, they are lawyers. And they very much prefer you pay once per year instead of making you aware you could get another visa type that is valid for 5 years. That's what happened to me. I renewed the union marital de hecho visa for a couple of years in a row but they never made me aware that I could have gotten the 5 year Resident visa only after two years of being in a Union marital de hecho. That used to be possible until 2023 when they changed the law and from there onwards you needed 3 years in a marriage or 5 years in an union marital de hecho to apply for the 5 year resident visa. So while they are generally good and I can recommend them, they will not give you the most efficient option for you, but they will lead you towards the option that will give them the most recurring income. Always double check with ChatGPT, always assume they will lead you to the slowest option with the most recurring ideally yearly income for them.

I highly recommend this law firm for their professionalism and responsiveness. I worked with them for my Colombian visa and it was the quickest approval I have had! Everything was organized, carefully reviewed, and completed in a timely manner. I will definitely be working them again.

I worked with the owner a few years ago. The service used to be good. They would get the job done and give legitimate legal council. Now the work is distributed out between a large group of unprofessional lawyers who lack communication and project management skills. I attempted to use their visa consultation service. All they did was start a multiple month email thread and provide no clear information or guidance. I also paid for video consultation which I was never given. They could not lay out the process of getting my marriage visa nor provide me a list of all of the required documentation. Like the other reviewers have described; when I tried to provide them legitimate feedback they became defensive and argumentative. I paid for this service almost a year ago now. My visa application was never submitted, they only followed up to tell me that they did everything correctly and it is my fault. They also held onto the $400+ USD I gave them without offering a refund. It is important to note that there is no such thing as an immigration lawyer in Colombia so these are just general lawyers giving consultation. If you pay for a visa service in Colombia, I urge you to find lawyers that will actually sit down with you and guide you on what to do. Things like "You need to get this document from you state government in the US" or "You need to get his document notarized here, then take it here."

They did a great job for us with investment visa and real estate purchase.

I would definitely recommend for expats. I have used them for two properties in Colombia. They give good advice and Don't try to upsell. They follow through in a timely manner. They've also even provided me services. I didn't even realize I was included with my purchase package such as changing the bills utilities in my name after we were completed with the deed signing. They also had paperwork corrected that was from the notary's office that they probably didn't have to spend the time and energy to change and did some extra leg work to make sure everything was 100% correct.

Great service. Very Helpful. Its a different type of law firm. They have helped me with everything to get ready for my digital nomad visa and real estate purchase for like 2 months now and they don't ask you for anything till your ready. Its simple just look how they price things fast not in a hurry etc... be patient learn from them they know what there doing.

In regards to applying for the digital nomad visa, you’d be better off hiring an actual visa agency. In my case, several mistakes were made along the way that ended up in multiple unnecessary visits to the immigration office and extra fees due to Langon not fully understanding the process.
