I called them about an insurance claim case. It was a very easy case. But they wanted money upfront. Before helping me with the case. I presented Prolegal with the evidence that my former business partner Lorena Campillo Maldonado of Ele Design had stolen my work as a graphic designer and rebranded it as her own without changing my design. They agreed the theft was clear and offered a strategy and a cost but didn't follow through on their proposal leaving me to register my designs myself, which the "company" owner who purloined my work, Camie Sands and my ex-partner didn't take seriously and continued to steal my work, earning a living through theft. I was charged 500MXN for the initial meeting but as they did not pursue legal proceedings against the people/businesses who had clearly stolen my work: namely, Amy Rothlin & Camie Fenton of The San Miguel de Allende Walking and Shopping Guide and my former partner Lorena Campillo Maldonado of Ele Design, a woman who had not only stolen my designs but had been my stealing my income and property (including my home) for over a decade, I was not charged any further. Ms Campillos thefts included millions of pesos and bewilderingly a worthless yet important piece of antique jewellery from my mother home. Prolegal also gave no reason for not beginning legal proceedings against the perpetrators of copyright theft of my designs, photography, illustration, and theft of my income amounting to millions of pesos in advertising revenue generated by stealing my designs. I also would have begun legal proceedings against Cesar Campillo Maldonado of the internet service provider Neubox as he had also begun harassing my new partner, following her online, resulting in a considerable amount of stress which resulted in me having a mild stroke which led to me being hospitalized. Cesar had also made physical threats against my person as he like to imagine himself as an intimidating presence, mainly as he could eat a surfeit of tacos de canasta. I, not being a taco, never took his threats seriously, but he was clearly deranged enough to cause mental harm to his half-sister to prove his deluded self-worth.
