Mexican Permanent Residency Process The MAXLIFE YUCATÁN team was excellent and made the entire process very easy, even while we were in California handling everything remotely. We had a few Zoom meetings, and even though our Spanish is limited (and the immigration process in Mexico is in Spanish), they explained everything clearly and guided us step by step. From the beginning, we felt confident we were in good hands. Getting an appointment at the Mexican Consulate in San Bernardino can be difficult, but MAXLIFE YUCATÁN made it happen. They helped us prepare all the documents, and we were approved at our first interview. They later assisted us with the “CANJE” (visa exchange for the permanent card) process at INM in Mérida, where they met us in person for all of our appointments. From our first WhatsApp message to receiving our permanent resident cards took about six months. We were actually ready to complete the CANJE in about three months, but our schedule made the process take a little longer. Amanda Rodríguez, Lic. I recently used Maxlife Yucatan for the exchange (canje) process to obtain my residency card in Mexico. For me, they did an outstanding job. Nothing beats having a knowledge local person that speaks English to help you while you are in Mexico.
