We have used the services of the firm to advise and help represent us at a condo owners' assembly with the developer. We also used their services to help and advise us for the creation of the Asociación Civil for our condominium, and register the asociación with SAT. These processes were more complex and convoluted than one might expect, but Lic. Marcos Martinez was very professional through it all, never gave up when setbacks occurred, and always ended up finding solutions. Although Lic. Marcos does not speak English himself, his team has some staff members that can translate for English speakers. This team has definitely earned my trust!

We have run into issues with delivery of condo units and HOA irregularities in a condo project in Nayarit. We had interviewed three law firms/lawyers in seeking counsel for our case. Credibility and conflict of interest were a common theme with these. Bahia de Banderas is a complicated place to do business in. Buyer beware. Licensiado Marco Martinez is superb at communication of issues and has given us prompt and in depth advice on our issues. He also unlike the other counsel produced tangible results in getting information and analyzing our situation without any bias. He did not push us into any litigation but showed restraint. As it turned out it was a better option at that juncture. He is however a proven litigator and is able to place the cases into the judicial system for more aggressive resolution. Another foreign owner in the complex had to resort to this avenue and it is well in progress. Being an American who grew up in Canada, it was a breath of fresh air to work with professional outfit by our US/Canada standards after meeting a lot of folks with work habits and practices that fall much shorter of what we expect from legal Counsel. Martinez y Asociados have the experience and know how to work within the somewhat bizarre reality of real estate transactions in Mexico. If you are thinking of investing there that should be your first stop before you even talk to an agent. We did not do that but were helped on the back end. Highly recommend them.

Lic. Marcos and his amazing staff is of the most supreme law offices I have ever dealt with. His knowledge, the humility and the overall service is what sticks out when I think of this office.
