I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Betsy and her team. Betsy guided me through the process while I was still in the States and when I arrived in Cuenca she held my hand through the process and even fixed something I made a mistake on. She did not miss a beat. 2 months to the day and I just received my Visa and Cedula. I highly recommend Betsy and her team. As far as I’m concerned Betsy has a super hero cape !
Highly recommend working with Expat Law Group, and we wish we had gone with them from the start. We used another lawyer and have had a terrible experience. We did a paid consultation with Betsy ($50 for 40 minutes, although she has continued helping us some after that and gone well over 40 minutes) and she helped us understand the situation we were in and did everything she could to help us. If our visa application falls through due to the other lawyer's incompetence, we will use Betsy. She has been very generous with her time in helping us, speaks very good English, and knows her stuff and how to get stuff done. Yes, you can find cheaper lawyers to help with your visa, but I've interacted with four different lawyers at this point about our visa problems, and the ONLY one I trust is Betsy. The others are either significantly less competent or simply not trustworthy and reliable.
Betsy Prado was incredible! She made the Ecuador visa process smooth and stress-free for us. Also fast once we got all papers.
